John Fawkner Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team.  

Our Medical Ward is a busy 31-bed unit comprising elective and emergency medical patients requiring varying levels of care.  The role requires nurses with sound clinical skills, effective time-management and the ability to work within the interdisciplinary team. 

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Must be Medication endorsed EN, may administer medications according to state law and organization policy

Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Day shift/ night shift rotation
• Working with Children check
• Enrolled Nurse qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications
• Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
