Applications are sought from suitable candidates wanting to work as an Assistant in Nursing as part of our dynamic nursing team.
As an Assistant in Nursing your responsibilities will include:
- Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
- Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills
- Provide recommendations to specialist treatment programs based on their diagnosis
- Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries
Gold Coast Private Hospital in located in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. Our 284 bed facility opened in March 2016. We support the Gold Coast Community for all Acute Medical and Surgical Services, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Cardiac.
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired
